Akshay Bhatia is among the latest golfers to withdraw from the Valspar Championship in Florida, joining a growing list of absent players such as Robert MacIntyre, Keith Mitchell, and Max Greyserman. Bhatia, fresh off a victory at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and a T13 finish at The Players Championship, decided to step back before the event.

Sam Ryder will be filling in Bhatia's slot, while the event has also seen the inclusion of Doug Ghim, Andrew Putnam, Kris Ventura, Justin Lower, and Joel Dahmen. Brooks Koepka's participation has allowed Matt Kuchar and Seamus Power entry via the Returning Member Program.

Despite the withdrawals, the tournament still boasts a formidable roster featuring top players like World No.7 Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, and others. The competitive field includes stars such as Brooks Koepka and Jordan Spieth, ensuring an exciting championship weekend.
