As the countdown to The Masters continues, the question on everyone's mind is whether Tiger Woods, a 15-time Major champion, will grace Augusta National this year. Having skipped competitive golf since the 2024 Open Championship, Woods has dealt with a torn Achilles and undergone his seventh back surgery.
Recently, Woods has resumed taking full swings which sparked speculation about his return. Yet, during a conversation following Jupiter Links' win over Boston Common in TGL, Woods dampened expectations by stating, "I've been working on it. Some days are good; others, not so much. Disk replacement wasn't easy. Recovery takes time."
The legendary golfer elaborated, "I've faced multiple surgeries, and healing isn't what it used to be. Some days, I feel capable of anything; on others, even moving is tough." Although he's not playing in the upcoming TGL Finals, Woods remains optimistic, hoping to avoid impacting his team adversely. Meanwhile, Jupiter Links will face Los Angeles in their Finals match at SoFi Center on March 23 and 24.
