Rory McIlroy has etched his name further into Masters history. On Sunday, the Northern Irish golfer became the fourth player ever to win consecutive Masters titles, sharing the honor with Jack Nicklaus, Nick Faldo, and Tiger Woods.

McIlroy faced no shortage of drama as he battled to defend his green jacket. Despite holding a record lead after 36 holes, the final round saw McIlroy clinching victory with two crucial birdies in Amen Corner. His final score of 12 under par was sealed by a steady 71, fending off close competitor Scottie Scheffler, and temporary leader Justin Rose, who lead for two holes.

McIlroy also had to overcome the challenge of Cameron Young, who initially threatened his lead. However, key moments at Amen Corner allowed McIlroy to regain control and secure a memorable win.

Reflecting on his journey at Augusta, McIlroy recalled the anxiety of previous years—a feeling now replaced by triumph and ease. Celebrated among past champions, the question remains: how many more victories will McIlroy claim at Augusta?
