Nelly Korda began 2024 as the top golfer globally with a dominant performance, winning seven out of 16 LPGA tournaments. However, 2025 proved challenging as she failed to secure any victories in 19 tournaments.

This year, Korda plans a calculated approach for the LPGA's 33-event season. Kicking off 2026 with a win at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, she strategically skipped three Asian tournaments for rest and preparation.

"I took six weeks off, almost like an offseason," Korda shared at the Fortinet Founders Cup. Relieving neck issues, she prioritized health routines and family time along with practice.

She detailed her commitment to fitness with intense workouts alongside her coach, David Whelan. Korda enjoys box jumps, aiming to increase her height from 90 to 100 cm: "They're fun because I train like an athlete," she explained.

Korda's home-time focus extended to clean eating, admitting the challenge of staying disciplined on the road. Such efforts aim to reinvigorate her as she returns for competition.
