Ludvig Aberg Leads into Final Day at TPC Sawgrass

The excitement is palpable at TPC Sawgrass as the PGA Tour's The Players Championship nears its grand finale. Ludvig Aberg, who dazzled with an impressive nine-under 63 in the second round, now leads by three shots after carding a 71 in the third round. Starting with a two-shot lead ahead of Xander Schauffele, Aberg witnessed Cameron Young rise as his main competitor. However, Young's unfortunate double bogey on the 18th pushed him down to third place, handing Aberg a more comfortable lead.

Aberg, who thre-putted the last hole os Saturday, isitting at 13 under and will be paired with Michael Thorbjornsen. The final pairing is teeing off at 1.40pm ET (5.40pm GMT). The penultimate group features Cameron Young, nine under, and Matt Fitzpatrick, eight under, beginning their pursuit at 1.30pm ET (5.30pm GMT). Meanwhile, defending champion Rory McIlroy finds himself far from contention, starting his final round at 8.35am ET (12.35pm GMT) alongside Nico Echavarria, with McIlroy at one over.
