Justin Rose has found a new home on the equipment side — and it’s far from a traditional sponsorship deal. The former U.S. Open champion is joining McLaren Golf as both a global ambassador and investor, as the brand prepares to make its PGA TOUR debut this week in Miami.
This is more than just a name on a contract. Rose has been involved from the very beginning, spending significant time testing prototypes and providing feedback that has helped shape the development of the clubs.
“This has been a passion project from day one. I’ve had the opportunity to be involved from the start, working closely with the team and helping shape the product,” Rose said.
McLaren Golf has yet to reveal its full product lineup, but signing a player of Rose’s caliber suggests a complete range of equipment could be on the way.
Since his partnership with Honma ended in 2020, Rose has operated without a full-time equipment deal — until now.
