Dustin Johnson has received a special invitation into the PGA Championship 2026 and was officially confirmed in the field for next week’s championship.
The invitation extends Johnson’s streak of consecutive major appearances to 69, dating back to the 2008 PGA Championship.
The former World No. 1 owns several strong finishes in the event, including back-to-back runner-up results in 2019 and 2020. He also famously came close to winning in 2010 before a controversial penalty on the final hole denied him a place in a playoff.
Since joining LIV Golf, Johnson’s major form has been inconsistent. He has missed the cut in six of his last ten majors and recorded just two top-10 finishes during that stretch.
