Hyo Joo Kim defeated Nelly Korda for the second straight week, closing with a 3-under 69 to win the Ford Championship by two shots. Kim appeared on pace to break the LPGA’s 72-hole scoring record before a double bogey on the eighth briefly gave Korda a chance. However, Korda missed key short putts and Kim responded with a birdie on the 10th to regain control. Kim finished at 28-under 260 for her first back-to-back LPGA wins, both coming against Korda after also winning the Founders Cup. Despite a few late mistakes, Kim’s putting and consistent play secured the victory, while Korda finished strong but fell short. Minami Katsu finished third and Lydia Ko placed fourth.
