Lucas Herbert claimed his first LIV Golf title after leading from start to finish in Virginia — securing a place in the US Open 2026 in the process.
The 30-year-old Australian finished four shots ahead of Sergio Garcia at Trump National to complete a dominant week.
The victory sends Herbert back into major championship golf after making only two major appearances since 2023. He earned his place at this year’s US Open at Shinnecock Hills through LIV Golf’s qualification pathway.
Herbert revealed he had been feeling ill during the final round but praised his ability to stay composed under pressure.
