Leonie Harm claimed her first title on the Ladies European Tour after winning the Amundi German Masters 2026 in Hamburg.
The German secured victory with birdies on her final two holes to win by one shot at Green Eagle Golf Courses.
The win carried extra emotion given Harm’s remarkable story. As a teenager, she was hit by a drunk driver and given just a one percent chance of survival. She was placed in a medical coma, and doctors were unsure whether she would walk again — or how severe her brain damage might be.
“Nobody knew what the extent of my brain damage would be, or if I’d be able to walk again,” Harm previously told Golf Digest.
Despite the setback, Harm returned to golf and has gradually established herself on the LET. After the victory, she reflected on her journey, which also included losing her mother to cancer.
“To combine being mentally happy with success in golf feels incredible,” Harm said after her win.
