The Zurich Classic of New Orleans, happening at TPC Louisiana, features a unique team format blending Four-ball and Foursomes. In this format, the first and third rounds are Four-ball where all players play their own balls. The lowest score on each hole is recorded for the team.

The second and final rounds feature Foursomes or alternate shot play. Here, partners take turns hitting shots. For instance, if Player A and Player B are paired, Player A tees off on odd holes while Player B begins on even ones. The total shots taken by the team determine the score for each hole.

The initial field comprises 74 teams, each team making the cut competes in the final rounds. After two rounds, the top 33 teams proceed. A sudden-death playoff resolves ties.

Winners earn FedExCup points, official prize money, and good standing, including a spot in THE PLAYERS Championship. Each team member gains a winner’s exemption, enhancing their PGA TOUR career prospects.

Defending champions are Andrew Novak and Ben Griffin.
