Alex Fitzpatrick claimed his maiden DP World Tour title in India and made history with brother Matt Fitzpatrick, as they became the first siblings to win in successive weeks on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour. Fitzpatrick overturned Eugenio Chacarra’s overnight four-shot lead with a strong back nine, taking control with birdies and capitalising on Chacarra’s late bogeys. He built a decisive lead before a double bogey on the final hole still left him a two-shot victory. Fitzpatrick said the win was emotional after years of hard work and was proud to join his brother as a Tour winner. MJ Daffue finished tied third with Ugo Coussaud and Andy Sullivan.
